theSTEPs.org with two of its member organizations- Support for Rural Advancement Society (SUPPORT) and Dishari Foundation organized a Training Workshop on Healthcare on February 24, 2018. The day long event was held at one of SUPPORT’s regional centers at Nabiganj, Narayanganj.

Around 45 patients, including mothers and children from different age groups were provided with medical check-up. A registered doctor, Dr. Tina Mustahid supervised the entire event unwearyingly being provided with pertinent administrative assistance from the local representatives of the two STEPs-member organizations.

The patients were encouraged to share their health problems directly with the doctor. The doctor then prescribed them with appropriate medical advice to address their health problems. The local inhabitants have highly appreciated this initiative. More of such events are anticipated to be organized in near future by these entities which will be carried out in different regions across the nation.
